ELA SBAC Performance Task Sets

Rainbow’s team of assessment experts developed the following components of the ELA SBAC Performance Task Sets, Grades K–12, for AIR: Stimuli (permissioned and commissioned passages), Short Answer items, Machine Scored Constructed Response (MSCR) items (Hot Text or Matching), and Essay items. Each Performance Task includes a total of five commissioned and permissioned Stimuli (passages), two Short Answer items, and one (MSCR) item. Rainbow provided graphics for each Stimuli (passage) per task.
