An American Tradition ©1986 was Rainbow’s first project way back in 1985, and launched the company’s reputation as the premier content developer for the educational publishing industry. The creation of this award-winning reading program (Grades 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8), developed without the benefit of fax machines, FedEx, scanners, email, iPhones, or the Internet, was followed rapidly in the next few years by the Gold Medal Edition ©1989 of the same program, along with reading, ESL, and social studies programs for Scott Foresman, Silver Burdett & Ginn, Harcourt, Holt, Open Court, McGraw-Hill, Hampton-Brown, Macmillan, Modern Curriculum Press, and others.
