Content is everything.

Rainbow provides ongoing Guided Reading scores for HMH’s Reading/Language Arts programs. Most recently, Rainbow delivered Guided Reading scores for hundreds of English and Spanish leveled readers, focal texts, trade books, read alouds, build schema texts, and big books to be used in connection with HMH’s instructional program, Into Reading ©2020, spanning all Guided Reading Levels A–Z.

Rainbow’s highly-qualified team of Reading Recovery teachers and Guided Reading experts carefully analyze each selection to accurately determine and assign the appropriate Guided Reading score.

The Digital Citizenship Curriculum ©2019 offered by Common Sense Education prepares students to “take ownership of their digital lives.” The lessons and interactive games provide students with the digital citizenship skills required to participate fully in their communities and to make smart choices online and in life. The curriculum prepares students with critical 21st-century skills, supports educators, and engages the whole family through outreach.

Rainbow worked collaboratively with Common Sense Education to develop the Grades 6–8 lesson outlines, lesson plans, student handouts, lesson slides, and end-of-lesson quizzes.

Rainbow’s team was also responsible for correlating the content to the following sets of standards: Common Core, ISTE, CASEL, and AASL.

In addition, Rainbow provided Spanish translations for all lessons, student handouts, lessons slides, end-of-lesson quizzes, parent tip sheets, and family activity handouts.

Rainbow handled research, editorial ideation, and design conceptualization for Scholastic’s FACE Family and Community Engagement ©2018.

Prototypes included the following components: Teacher’s Guide, Family Guide to Literacy, Take-Home Book, and additional teacher and parent resources in the form of a Templates Book.

Spotlight on Spanish ©2017 is an early childhood elective program that taps children’s natural curiosity for learning and the ability to acquire more than one language. Built around Learning Care Group’s existing Preschool and Pre-K routines, children engage in stories, songs, and games to learn Spanish words and phrases. Rainbow conceptualized and developed content for three 10-week semesters. Each semester includes a Teacher Guide, Classroom Flipchart, and Student Workbook. Working closely with our client-partner, Rainbow’s team also conceptualized the designs and handled all production tasks through delivery of final files to the printer.

This neuroscience, research-based program, developed in partnership with RUSH Neurobehavioral Center, strives to improve students’ academic performance by encouraging the development of executive functions—the ability to plan, strategically solve problems, self-regulate behavior, make decisions, pay attention, monitor and evaluate performance, and manage time.”

Rainbow developed the following components for this Executive Functions Curriculum Series ©2012 (Middle School and High School Supplements): Student Guides, Curriculum Notebooks, and Student Worksheets. Services included prototype creation and full editorial development.

Rainbow developed the following components for this set of student planners with research-based instruction for increasing achievement in the classroom: Student Planners, Online Student Resources, Online Teacher Resources. Our team developed the following levels for Student Learning That Works, Featuring McRel ©2012: Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

Rainbow developed Outdoor Creative Play and Learning System ©2008 as a set of integrated, standards-based outdoor activity lessons for PreK–Grade 5. Development of this set of 100 Activity Cards and corresponding User’s Guide included the following services: conceptualization, planning, editorial, illustrations, design, production, packaging, manufacturing, and printing.

Rainbow developed Amaze Panels Activity Cards ©2007 as a set of integrated, standards-based outdoor activity lessons for PreK–Grade 5. Development of this set of Activity Cards and corresponding User’s Guide included the following services: conceptualization, planning, editorial, illustrations, design, production, packaging, manufacturing, and printing.
